From Paris With Love: Smallable Boutique
I have to admit that we Amsterdamers we are pretty spoiled when it comes to nice and original children boutiques. However, I am not smug. My eyes do still light up when I see that other cities have nice offers, too. Paris for instance, the city where I travel quite frequently to for my job, just opened recently the retail version of the well-known online shop Smallable. Located in the 6th arrondissement, this concept store makes already a statement thanks to its long entrance hall with the beautiful window styling and the huge “Dream Big” lightening. Followed by the cute “Pimp your stroller area” where customers can try and purchase strollers by brands such as Bugaboo and Babyzen, you can then enter the boutique that offers a mixed selection of clothing, toys, furniture and deco items for babies, toddlers and kids, with my favorites being the hand-made brooches by Macon & Lesquoy, the house bed by Bonnesoeurs and of course all accessories from the Japanese brand Keora Keora (yes, I bought a furry a kitten purse and I don’t feel ashamed at all)…and yes, the boutique features as well one of these Nailmatic vendor machines !
Based on its rather posh location, one could be surprised when I say that the store staff is very welcoming, down to Earth and helpful, making Smalllable a must-go-to place for your next trip to Paris.
